Frequently Asked Questions
Where do your spices and teas come from? are they ethically sourced?
Our spices and teas are grown directly by our friends and family. Cinnamon grows in my front yard in Sri Lanka. They are grown, harvested and dried in the Sun and go straight into its package. We grow them with so much love and care. This is truly from our family to yours.
All spices and teas are always ethically grown and harvested.
are your spices and teas organic?
Our spices and teas are not certified organic. We do adhere to organic practices from seed to bag.
Where do you get your apparel? are they ethically made?
CeyoLanka clothing is sewn by our tailor friend, Kelum, and his family.
CeyoLanka handbags are sewn by our cousin, Priyanjali. It is custom to call each other sister and brother in Sri Lanka. We use the word ‘Akka’ which means older sister when speaking with or referring to her.
What’s the Sweet Spot Serving size for your ceylon teas?
We recommend 1/2 teaspoon of Ceylon tea for an 8 oz. cup of water. You can steep the same tea up to three times!
can I order your spices in bulk? or wholesale?
